The Ministry of Transport and Logistics has identified five steps for the method of objection in the event the vehicle is damaged on its roads, as the ministry confirmed that the first step lies in stopping the vehicle in a safe location close to the site of the damage, with the importance of emphasizing not to impede traffic, after which the call is made to the Road security or the General Traffic Department according to the location of the damage, in order to obtain a report on the damage caused by the road and its causes, provided that the report is then sent from the Road Security or the General Traffic Department to the branch of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics in the region, where the ministry branch will then study the claim And verify the causes, and when the claim is proven, it is transferred to the contractor and asked to review the road security or the General Traffic Department to work on ending it.
These steps are part of the ministry’s efforts to preserve the rights of all road users. It is worth noting that the ministry is working in accordance with specific plans and programs to achieve the objectives of the national strategy for transport and logistics, which aims to reach the sixth place globally in road quality, while reducing road deaths by more than 50% .
